「大学生は学業を優先すべき」という政府要請に、経団連は2016年（平成28年）卒業予定者より、学部3年の3月からの解禁、採用選考開始は4年生の8月（現在は4年生の4月）からのスタートとなった。ところがフライングする企業が相次ぎ、経団連は6月に変更することにした。
